March Meeting
Professional photographer John DeLapp is our guest presenter for the March meeting. His passion is nature photography and he will cover some of the techniques and perspectives that can make us all better photographers. John offers professional photography of nature, wildlife, landscapes, and many other subjects. He has lived in Alaska for more than 30 years and practiced photography much of that time. The wild and natural world has always held an important place in his life. His basic philosophy about our world is summed up in the following simple yet elegant phrase, "A good planet is hard to find".
John's work has been published widely and his fine art images are held in many private collections throughout the United States.

Even though the actual function is more that a month away, now is the time to start thinking about promoting this annual event. This year we are trying something new to get the word out. In addition to distributing posters and flyers to all the major fishing shops in Anchorage, Eagle River, and the Valley; we are making the small poster and the pre-registration flyer available online as a PDF that you can download and post anywhere you feel is appropriate.
The small poster on the left is letter size and will print out in color. The pre-registration form is in a 2-up format so you can share with a friend.
We’re hoping that this new facet of service will help you as members reach out to new fly fishers.
